We’re looking for experienced drivers (aka Moke Jockeys) that are sticklers for safety and have a passion for providing an excellent customer experience. If you’re a great conversationalist with keen golf cart driving skills and a memory like an elephant, we should talk.

A BIT ABOUT MOKE & WINE INC.

Moke & Wine Tours are highly curated wine tasting experiences that take place aboard Moke e-cars.

Mokes are small electric cars that were originally used by the British Army in the 60’s. Mokes were recently reimagined and are 100% electric. They’re super stylish and tons of fun to drive! These puppies are street legal but only go up to a max speed of 25 MPH, which makes them a slow moving vehicle. Which also means that in Temecula we can only drive on private property, residential streets (where the speed limit is 35 or less) and the shoulder of the road.

Moke & Wine Tours were created by two local 30-something entrepreneurs who share an affinity for elevated, exclusive experiences and just so happen to also love wine (and cute cars). This Summer the pair are introducing a small fleet of Mokes to Temecula wine country! So, buckle up! It’s going to be super fun.

DESCRIPTION

Moke Jockeys will drive approximately 2-4 people who are wine tasting on predetermined/approved routes through Temecula wine country. Driver’s will be expected to memorize pertinent information in regard to each winery and converse with riders while ushering them to their many destinations on a timed-schedule. Drivers will be asked to wear a uniform provided by the company as well as a hat. Driver’s will be responsible for the health and safety of those in their e-Moke and provide a fun and elevated experience for all that ride with them.

PAY

The position pays $30 per hour in increments of full and half day experiences + gratuity

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 21 years old

Must have a valid California Driver’s License

Must be an excellent phone photographer

Must know how to work a bluetooth stereo

Must know or be willing to learn to change a tire

Must have a clean driving record (3+ years)

Must have 10+ years driving experience

Must pass a written test and on-site driving test

Must have a dynamite personality

Must know how to properly and thoroughly wash a car
Must live within a 15 mile radius of Temecula, CA

NOTES

This gig has flexible hours

Hours will only be available during the daytime 9A-6p

This is an independent contractor position
